Drawing - Section view - How to edit hatch which is not visible (because large scale)

Hello,
this is common scenario. I have section view of the big assembly and an detail view,  where is small piece of some part in section view, but no hatch visible. Like in an image below.

How can I access the hatch Properties in the detail view (A) to set different hatch scale?

inv-hatch2.png

I tried this nasty workaround:

To lower scale of the hatch in the source view until it shows some line in the detail view and then double click it, set wanted scale value in the detail view and restore the scale in the source view. But it resets hatch scale in all detail views = no effect and all other details are wrongly displayed again.

Thanks for your help!

Hi! I believe this is a limitation in Inventor Hatching workflow. The issue here is that Inventor Hatch is more like sketch-based (with absolute unit) as opposed to texture-based like AutoCAD. As a result, in some cases depending on the hatch spacing, hatch scale, and the view scale, the hatch pattern may not be displayed properly.

Please feel free to share an example that exhibits the behavior. I can take a closer look to confirm the behavior.

Many thanks!
