Drawing Resource Transfer Wizard not working

Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with my drawing resource transfer wizard, it's copying the items I select but then when it's saving the file it get's stuck.

I have tried other files and I'm getting the same problem, I have used it many times before..

Is anyone having this problem? I'm on 2021.3.3

I don't know the answer but I would try selecting fewer target files, possibly one of them is corrupted somehow.

Maybe a long shot but make sure your source drawing (from where resources are being copied from) is not included in the target group (to where the resources are being copied to) as well.

And, of course, see that you have access to all the folders/drawings, and none of them are in an Inventor version that is newer than the one you're working with (maybe it should fail if you try saving a sketch symbol from a 2021 IDW onto files saved in Inventor 2020).

Sorry for the message, I found out that it was an external rule that was causing the problem, I had to turn off the rule before using this tool.

What external rule was that?

Try to disable all external rules that act on drawings then run the program and enable them again.

Keep see right now what was but it was some rule that had a before save trigger only on drawings.
