Drawing centered pattern

In the drawing view attached I want to show the circular centre line through a pattern of 4 holes on a 100mm PCD. My problem is that I don't have a circular feature to select as the centre of the pattern. I tried using the origin axis but that does not work. I eventually created a sketch with a tangent circle in the small square feature, created the PCD circle then, made the sketch circle invisible. Is there an easier way to do this?

just start the centerline function en select each hole. you need to end with the first hole, so select the first twice. So start centerline, select hole1, hole 2, hole 3, hole4 and hole 1, RMB click create.

No, that does not work. The first selection defines the centre of the pattern, if I select the first hole, Inventor wants to create a pattern centred on that hole.

Are you sure you used "centerline" and not " centered Pattern"

OK, got it now. I've always used centred pattern for this before, never tried using centreline. Thanks Theo.
