Download link in 3D PDF template

Hi,

I am making a new 3D pdf template for Inventor 2018 where I wan't to have a link to download the STEP file in the pdf.

Example: "Click on filename to download step file "filename"

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

If I understand the question properly:

Can you not create it? 

Or take it to the idea's stations.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. The STEP file is embedded in the pdf as an attachment and with some hassle I can retrieve the STEP file from the pdf, but the ideal solution would be to have a button or link on the pdf where you can right click and dowload it. I just can't get the code right.

That's right ..

I would honestly put it in the idea's station....

The 3d pdf's haven't had much for improvements for the past 2 releases. Bugs' etc but things like this notta ..

@martin_fransson did a quick search and found a couple of methods using Acrobat, BlueBeam, and coding it in:

Hello Michael，

Asking for help.

I want the extra lights of the initially generated model to be the headlamp in the 3d pdf, not cube lights.（currently，the lighting scheme is cube lights within inventor 3D pdf template）

Then, I tried to modify the JavaScript within Acrobat as belw screenshot,but it does not work.

Could you tell me how to modify that? thanks in advance.

By the way, I am using Autodesk Inventor 2018 for work.
