Display resolution Inventor 2018 versus 2013

After a migrration from Inventor 2013 to 2108, we found out that the display resolution of Inventor 2018 seems worse than Inventor 2013.

Inventor 2013 shows much sharper edges than Inventor 2018. See attachment. The same model in the same angle: left is Inventor 2018, right is 2013.

Is this a setting somewhere, or is this the way Autodesk tries to get things quicker 

- Hardware settings both tested in Performance and Quality

- Monitor resolution: 1920 x 1080

- Display quality settings (application options) is "smoother"

Tested with NVidia Quadro P2000 and K3100M. The P2000 has Autodesk certified driver.

Already found a NVidia setting to resolve this: "Antialiasing - FXAA" must switched on. See attachment.

I have had this issue in the past and I believe its cause by corrupting in the Inventor user profile..

Straight lines would look like a chainsaw blade moving around.. 

You should not need to adjust AA in NVidia.. That does seem to correct it but its really a workaround that isn't/shouldn't be needed..

As per the solutions there running the Inventor reset utility has fixed that on more than one occasion for me.. 

Specifically this exactly..

Its kind of a tap your head/rub your belly trick to get the profile to fix itself post reset utility.. but it worked.. You may need to do it a few times as you are standing on one leg and holding the other ear...  But I would reset the Nvidia stuff and try to see if the reset dance gets it working..

I ran the Inventor Reset Utility again and then opened Inventor changed from performance to quality then restarted Inventor and all is fine again.
