Hello,
I want to verify if I'm designing a closed cam (design tab > path type > both) without a spring (calculation tab > follower loads> "force on roller" and "spring rating") do I leave the "force on roller" and "spring rating" values at zero to obtain the correct forces experienced by the follower caused by ONLY the cam path itself?
When I hit calculate, I still get design compliance but I want to make sure this is the appropriate way to use the disc cam component generator to calculate a cam system without a spring.
