Is there a way to un-default "Propagate to parent view" option when breaking a view?
This default has broken several drawings when a user added a page to a number of drawings and then broke the view on that page without un-checking the propagate box. The break propagated back to earlier pages and detached most dimensioning and notation throughout the drawing. It is being fixed, but I would like to avoid this problem going forward. Switching the default seems the easiest way to avoid this going forward.
We would like this option box to default to unchecked.
Anyone have any ideas?
Hi,
unfortunately, currently it is not possible to change the default setting of the option. For future releases consideration: it may help if it would keep the last used state.

In 30 years of drafting in various fields, I have NEVER yet wanted a broken view to propagate to parent view.
Why can't we yet change this stupid default?
