I have come across a bit of an issue, the Inventor not showing the diameter of the circle as well as not showing the depth when using "Holes and Thread".

Just started having this problem today. I'm on 2023.4 but just yesterday I had to download and install the 2024 interoperability patch (which was prompted automatically) to open a part. I am only seeing this happening with holes and diameters. I am using my company style library which seems to be working fine for both inventor 2024 and 2023 users.

Hi! We have heard similar issues from some users. But we cannot reproduce it somehow. Please make sure all critical Windows updates are installed and the graphics driver is updated. Then reboot the machine.

Also, the styles library cannot be shared across releases. On 2024, if you want to reuse 2023 styles, you need to use Style Library Manager to migrate them to 2024. After that, the styles cannot be used by 2023.

Many thanks!

Hi,

I'm also having this issue starting today after I  downloaded and installed the 2024 interoperability patch. Have there been any updates on this issue?

Thank you!

@regina_davis_4319

I can't remember it was either a reboot or updates I ran that fixed the problem, but it only worked after about 3 days, I am not sure what was the actual fix.

Thanks for the reply!

I found another article that mentioned the Font file being corrupt, so I fixed that, rebooted, and it worked. Hopefully for more than 3 days! Lol

Hi! I recalled this was a corrupted font issue (AGDT or AIGDT font).

Many thanks!

Good day to all

I have the same issue with my dimension not showing for diameters and holes.

This started after my upgrade to inv2025, I did Migrate styles from inv2024.

As with g00410127W858G, I can hide the value and type text and it is visible. But when I unhide it disappears again.

Thanks in advance

Emmanuel

Had the same issue with the hole and thread dimensions not showing after the 2024 update.

Found that the solution was in the styles editor as follows:

Styles Editor/Dimensions/Text

Change Tolerance text style from *use primary text style* to Note Text (ISO) which is set as my primary anyway

My assumption is that it with will work if you set the tolerance text style to the whatever you have also got selected as your primary text style.

Hope this helps

Hi David,

Have you tried reinstalling AGDT font and AIGDT font?

Many thanks!
