Dimension Table in Drawing

Hello Experts,

In an inventor drawing, I am hiding the dimension values and denoting them with the letter/numbers.

What I want to achieve is to get a table mentioning the given letter/number with Actual Dimension Value, Upper Tolerance, and Lower tolerance.

Is there any way to achieve this in Inventor?

You can also re-direct me to appropriate thread if there exist a solution to this query already.

I use Autodesk Inventor Professional 2015.

Many thanks in advance for your answers.

Yes. ... just make a table.

It'll be a manual task, but I've done it for various items that have different over lengths, different hole sizes etc ...

It looked just like the typical cylinder drawings with tables you see online.

This can easily be accomplished (automatically except for overriding the placed dimensions on the drawing) with iparts..

A general table can pull in all the information from the ipart table..

Thats the best way I do make a "tabulated" drawing like that..

I'll do a sample shortly..

Just noticed you have Inventor 2015 so you wouldn't be able to open/view the sample I made

But I created an ipart.. Created all my members (different lengths/width/depth) then generated the members

Then create a drawing.. placed my views.. added the dimensions and then edited the dimensions.. checked the "hide dimension value" box and manually typed in length/width/depth as needed..

Then created a general table and picked my view and then chose the columns I wanted and it automatically created the table as shown in this image..

You can create extra parameters for your tolerances,etc.. and include those columns too as needed..

But this table is 100% automatic and will update with model changes,etc..
