You can see Part Number in BASE.ipt Properties dialog box has become DESCRIPTION in BOM table and Description has become REMARKS. What is the reason for differences?

Because that's how they wanted to do it ...
Different companies, tutorials do it different ways.
Some people will make them all custom iproperties...
