Design Assistant for 2020 error 80004005

When copying and renaming an assembly with 282 files I get the error 80004005. I have tried making sure the part is up to date with a migrate save and still get this error. Closest I can find describes it as a runtime error, is this assembly just too large to copy it all in one go or is there a workaround?

Hi!

If you want to do model copies, try "iLogic Design copy".

This efficient tool will copy and rename your files maintaining all the links associated to the model.

Design assistant is a very faulty tool compared to this one.

The renaming options are a little restricted, only prefix suffix or replace.

The Part Numbers will update.

Despite the tool's name, you don't need to have iLogic rules in the models to run the tool, I don't even know why this tool is called like that. "Design copy" should be enough.

Also, in Autodesk app store, you will find some tools to copy and rename parts a lot more effective than DAssist.

An example:
