Hi mtu,
I think you must delete all of the rev blocks and all of the rev tags (triangles) on all sheets and then you can reset the rev number/ rev history.
I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

I have developed an app to operate revision tables. For trial version, it just limits the time and number of sheets to use. hope it will help.

Hi Curtis, this doesn't work for me. I delete all tags, delete the table, manually edit the rev in the drawing's iProperties. Then I add a new revision table, but it still fills with the original revision data. So clearly I'm not successfully deleting the data object that holds the revision table contents in the drawing. Is there something I'm missing?
This happens periodically when copying designs and I always spend an hour trying to figure out how to do it. This time I can't find any forum posts that have the solution for some reason. I remember there is some tertiary place you have to delete the revision that will actually remove it from the drawing file but I can't find it.
Disregard, there was an orphaned annotation. I hadn't deleted it because I was working with a random file as an example since a coworker asked me the question. Deleting the rev table, rev tags, and fixing the orphaned annotation reset the revision history as you described.
