rather than the rest of us playing 20 questions, please provide a file or some screen shots or some other description of the issue than: "it's not working".

also please specify the version of Inventor you are using.

If it is formatting correctly when you place views and annotation in the template itself, but goes wonky when you use the template to create a new drawing, then it is most likely getting overridden by a Style Library to which your new settings have not been saved.

Do you get a "Style Conflict" message when starting a new drawing from the template?

Hey Tyler,

No I am not getting any dialog pop-ups when I create a new drawing......

The style is still in the "Styles Editor" but the details of the style are not updating... I've been making quite a few changes to the style and they were updating. but it seems half way through my updates it stopped updating the new files from the template.

Tyler, I believe I got it working....

I had to go into my projects and set my Use Style Library to No.

Thank you for your interest and help.

That's actually the same problem I was chasing, then - not sure why you weren't getting the popup, it certainly appears every time I get something out of sync.  Unless of course you or some other user has told Inventor to not show that message anymore.

The alternative is to have Style Library still set to Yes, and Save all the styles you changed to the library (Save Styles button next to the Style Editor button).  In many cases this is preferable, especially if you have multiple templates that you want the styles consistent in.
