Default Style Library Damaged

While migrating styles using the Inventor Style Library Manager, the tool damaged all of my default style libraries. At this point, I would simply like to start all over with style in Inventor 2019 - delete everything, and go back to ground zero. Are there copies of the default style libraries saved anywhere?

Hi @Anonymous,

You should be able to run the installer and select the repair option, failing that you can back up any important files and run the Autodesk Uninstall tool and select Inventor and then reinstall Inventor which should fix the issue.

Hi! I believe you may need to reinstall Inventor to get back those files. But, the styles library should not be corrupted regardless. If you find a way to reproduce the corruption, please let us know.

Many thanks!

You don't want to do the repair, you want to do the Reinstall from the control panel to get all of the files

Make sure it's pointing to the right Design Data too ..

Yes - this happens anytime I try to migrate my old style libraries to Inventor 2019. It has happened twice now, so we are just rebuilding everything from scratch.

Neither repairing or reinstalling fixed this issue as neither the repair nor reinstall features would overwrite those style library folders for an unknown reason. Completely uninstalling Inventor 2019 and reinstalling from the installer also did not fix this issue. The only solution we could find was installing Inventor 2020 instead.
