Default dimension style

No matter what I do I only get default as a style and then when I change to
the one I want to use and change to hole call out it changes back to
default. How do I get this to use the one that I want instead of default?

TIA, Rich

Applicaiton Options --> Drawing Tab; there is a setting here to change Object defaults from Standard to Last Used.

I hasten to add that alternatively, you can just
edit your active object defaults style to set your preferred default dim style
on a per-object basis.

I've been trying to figure this out, for quite a while...
Using Inventor 2009...
How can I tell which dimension style is being used.
Nothing is bold...There's no bell or whistle that tells me "This is the active dimension style".
So, how can I tell, just by looking at the style list?
Also...How can I make Inventor use a particular style?

Please, let me know.
This is frustrating.

first of all you need to set up all of your styles how you want them. Then once thats all done you go to the Standard section and select the item nested in that section. This is where you choose what is used as standard, go to the Object defaults tab and play until your heart is content. Also check out the material hatch pattern defaults etc.. you have to make sure you import your materials before setting your desired hatch pattern. I also strongly advise using the style library instead of having this all only saved in your templates. There are a myriad of topics on the discussion forum covering all of this and reading the help file about 10 times should get you to understand the styles & its library set up, (well thats how long it took me to get it, and although easy to explain how it works in person its not in words, you just need to read n ply).

Hope that helps.
