Is there a way to copy the "Custom" tab data (in iProperties) from one drawing to the next?
Heres what I'm doing: Our company has switched names so we've implemented new title blocks for our drawings. In creating the new title blocks we decided to put all the 'prompted entry' info (ie: signature block info, drawing number, rev, title...) in one location, the "Custom" tab in iProperties. That way when we start a new drawing we dont have to go from tab to tab filling out names and dates, its now all in one tab.
The problem is that in our method of converting the old title blocks to the new title blocks, which is to open the old drawing file and open a new drawing file (with the new title blocks), copy the new title blocks from the browser and paste into the "drawing resources - title blocks" browser of the old drawing thus replacing the old title blocks with the new. BUT the "Custom" tab data that we set up does not copy over.
I'm guessing this is because the "Custom" tab data is part of the .idw file and not part of the "title block" that we created in the drawing resources, even though the custom properties we set up are attributed to the title block?
So the question is: Is there a way to copy over "custom" properties from drawing to drawing?
Thanks for your help!

design assistant..tools..copy design properties
yes, thank you Mcgyvr, that worked perfectly.
Also we found that using Drawing Resource Transfer Wizard works too. It actually works even better than using the Design Assistant for the specific job we were trying to accomplish because it allows us to copy/replace our new title/boarder .idw file into our existing .idw files that had the old title blocks we were trying to replace AND it copies over the Custom Properties!
Just incase anyone else is trying to do the same, here are the steps I took (Windows7):
*close Inventor
*(Windows7) START >All Programs >Autodesk >Autodesk Inventor 2013 >Tools >Drawing Resource Transfer Wizard
*Next
*select "file-name-here".idw from browser
*Source Resources window - check all boxes that apply
*Next
*select target .idw files from browser
*Select Target Drawings window - check all files to be converted
*Next
*Select Option - Yes
*Next
*Start
Thanks again Mcgyvr, we've also been using your method to use Design Assistant when we are trying to copy Custom Properties over into individual .idw files. Works like a champ! Thanks!
