Custom BOM (parts list) balloon

I have symbol:

And it is set in Style as following:

When component is ballooned it looks like this:

Inventor just takes lines, ignores any property in symbol and places properties at center of symbol.

Is it possible to create custom BOM ballon and have  values from pars list table shown in that custom BOM balloon as per symbol?

Hi! What you are seeing is how custom balloons work. I guess you may want to create a round sketch symbol with the desirable data (on 2026, you may add item number to a sketch symbol when a PartsList is present).

Parts list table is present on drawing. For 2026 version, where do I find "item number" in "Format Text" window?

Hi! I am sorry I was short-circuit. The option to add PartsList properties isn't available in drawing sketch text. It is only available in Annotation Text object. So creating a sketch symbol in this case will not help.

When adding an Annotation Text, if a PartsList is present on the same sheet, PartsList properties will be available in the dropdown menu.
