What is the best way to create a center drill for cylindrical parts?

Hello @seanpjames,

Just place a hole and select a reference from a circle edge, face or sketch, then you are all set.

Please refer to below video for a better understanding.

Hope it helps!

I was looking at this for a machined feature created by a lathe center drill, not a drilled hole concentric to a cylindrical part, so it would be nice if you could select from inventor a standard sized center drill, a countersink hole may work, but I have typically done a revolve cut, anyone have a simpler way?

Hi,

If you have already created the centre drill as a revole, you could extract it as an iFeature.

You can then place it from the Insert tab.
