Create Flat Pattern With Lofted Features

I am trying to create a flat pattern for this part which includes lofted features. I used the loft to create twisted legs, but this seems to prevent an accurate flat pattern from being created. I need an accurate flat pattern so that this copper sheet can be laser cut, then the legs will be twisted and bent during manufacturing.

Hi! I don't think Inventor Sheet Metal environment can create a Flat Pattern from this twisted Loft geometry. It is because the body needs to have uniform thickness at every point and the "bend" has to be cylindrical. Your best bet is Unwrap command in the 3D Model tab.
