Create Exploded Assembly Model States

Hi. I’m a drafter.

I just want to create an exploded state in my assembly model (to project into the drawing), for my Engineer.

Can I do that without being an expert in:

PRESENTATIONS

TEMPLATES

SCENES

IFEATURES

Etc, etc…

Because back in the day, I could create as many exploded states in an assy model as I wanted to create using PRO-ENGINEER. It was as easy as dragging the parts along planes and axis and naming the exploded state.

All I want to do is create an exploded state for that parts in my assembly model. (This is engineering-drafting 101, …and should not be so hard for a drafter to do. I don't feel like I should ha to master 5 other topics to do this).

Update:

I figured out how to drag parts in a presentation.

Not by reading the convoluted FAQ & Answers. But by just beating the door down on my own.

Of note (...unlike PRO-E), I had to drag the parts from an ORTHOGONAL POV rather than any POV.
