create drawing that includes point cloud data

I have .rcs file 3D scans of an irregular mine environment and I'm doing general layouts to see if there is enough room for installation of tanks/equipment. I've imported the cloud point data into Inventor and laid out the equipment. I can do 'box crops' of the point data to get all the section and plan views I need.

The issue I'm having is how do I get all that data into a drawing? The point data doesn't show up in the dwg and all I get is equipment models. I would like to output drawings with clearances and equipment sizes dimensioned.

I don't require mesh or solid models of the 3D scans; I just need basic room profiles with equipment and dimensions. If Inventor is not the appropriate software for this would Recap or Navisworks or even AutoCAD do the trick?

We cannot show up point cloud data in Inventor drawing unfortunately.
I think AutoCAD could do your requirement.

What version of inventor are you using? There is MBD that might be able to be utilized within the assembly?

Drawing containing point clouds.....

Surely this is something that's available in Inventor or at least will be in the near future. It's time consuming re-creating snap shots of the assembly and then re-inserting the images into the drawing.

Does someone have a workable solution for this ??
