Copy Object produce grey icone, invisible, unusable Composite

Hi all, in an assembly i'm working on ive a starting part was using to derive some surfaces with Copy Object tool, to  produce other parts in other sub-assembly.

Now, when I do it, I'm able to select the surface from the staring shape, but the resulting composite surface derived in the sub-assembly have a grey icon and is invisible, and i can't use the Thicken/Offset feature to derive  bodies from it.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

I was about to say that it turned invisible.... Is this a new part where you copy the surface? have you changed design view on it?

If you can replicate this on a new part then we might have a bug but we need to be able to replicate this on our end. Do a screencast and share the files if feel it's a bug.

Well yes looks like it is invisible but it is generated like this, and i tried to turn visibility on and of and keep being the same.

So do you think may be a bug?

Hi! I think probably you have the following option unchecked.

In the top assembly, go to View -> Object Visibility -> Construction Surface. Is it unchecked? Please check it so surfaces will be visible when you are editing in place.

Many thanks!
