Converting .dwg to .step

I am a civil engineer and have access to the civil design suite through work so I have been using AutoCAD to design parts for a land speed motorcycle I am building in my off time. I have a part that I would like to get made and the machine shop told me they would prefer to have the part in .step format. I don't see anywhere in our version of AutoCAD to export to .step and through reading a few forum posts it sounds like I need Inventor. I was wondering if anyone with Inventor would mind giving me a hand and export te file for me. The file is attached. If anyone has some extra time I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

For future reference - I recommend that you put the origin 0,0,0 in a logical location.

I think later versions of AutoCAD will _import STEP, even if it won't write *.stp, so you should be able to check the attached file.

If you are going to be doing a lot of mechanical work - Fusion 360 is only $30/mth and perhaps FREE for a year.
