Convert to Weldment not converting features

I convert my assembly to a weldment. I select Machining features so I can show the un-machined parts in the drawing.

features are above preparation.

I undo and try selecting Preparation - same thing.

Did they break "Convert to Weldment" for 2017?

1.) Convert standard IAM to Weldment

2.) Open the Weld module and create machining and prep features

Basically these are no different that Assembly Features but they reside within the folders of the weldment such as Prep and Machining.

You would need to process these features in the weldment module.

When you convert the IAM to a Weldment, you have the option to convert features that have already been created to Weld Preparations or Machining Features.

In the past features in the weldment had to be either in Preparation or Machining and assembly features created in the assembly before it was converted would all go into the folder selected at the time of conversion.

When I converted an assembly to a weldment the features which had already been created ended up outside of the regular places.

Notice the holes above the Preparation folder?

Any way you can send me the files so I can test here.

See the sketch "Tom's t..." just below the End of Features in that picture of the browser? I deleted it and now it works.

If the EOF is rolled up past any features you get a warning "Unable to convert assemblies in a rolled back state . ..."

But if the EOF is rolled up past unconsumed sketches you get the assembly features before the weld preps.

I've never pushed assembly features into Preparations or Machining. I've always done my IAM, converted to Weldment and then done my Prep and Machining within the Weldment.

The file you posted was already converted to a Weldment
