Could you help me convert the attached file, step into a solid for Inventor 2010? Thanks.

Hi

This is a surface model. All gaps and holes must be patched and the surface stitched.

Hi!

The file has lots of gaps.

That will take hours of work to close all that gaps and finally create a closed solid.

I thought we >>already covered this<<  no need to convert.

 

Oops, I responded to wrong thread - but the issue is exactly the same.

Unless you are going to manufacture - why convert?

 

All of the red edges in this image are missing geometry.

If I were doing a conversion the first thing I would do is isolate the text from the geometry.
