Hi,
Would it be possible to convert a solid body from (inside) a part into a new part, while keeping all features in the new part?
I would like to turn an existing multibody part into an assembly, in which all parts are directly editable.
Thank you!

Yes, but maybe not in the way you are familiar.
Attach your file(s) here.

No, I am much better explaining with geometry rather than words.
Can't you make up a dummy file(s) that exhibits all of the behaviors of your proprietary data?
Hi! If you are a subscriber, you can download Feature Recognition app for free.

@Anonymous Is your part composed of a single solid body or multi-body solids?
Are any features of that solid body based on any other features that you don't want in this new part?
Have you tried to just save copy as and delete all the features you don't want in this new part? If so what doesn't work about that?
