I am having issues with my content center files after installing the 2024 version of Inventor.

I feel like I have all my paths pointing to the right locations. The resolve link dialog will pop up and the files are directly there but it wont "find" them itself.

Any idea where I am going wrong?

Your project file takes precedence over the application options, what happens if you change the content center file location in the project settings from default to the directory you have chosen? I never change my application options settings for files, except for sketch symbol library. I control all this via the project settings.

It still gives me the same error. When the resolve link dialog pops up, the correct parts are right there in the folder but for some reason it wont recognize them?

is it possible your content center files are a mix of Autodesk supplied CC files as well as your own companies CC files?  If so, is everything migrated to the 2024 version?

No, we have not created any custom CC files

You are mixing up 2 different folders.

CC Libraries and generated files folder.

CC Library is in "Libraries" folder".

Generated files are in "en-US" or other langrage.

You are using same for both.

"Default Content Center files" should be in different path.  The one with "en-US

Find the "en-US" folder and use the folder it's in as path.

So if you got: "H:\Engineering\Content Center Files\en-US\", path is: "H:\Engineering\Content Center Files\".

I can change the "Default Content Center Files" to the en-us path but the problem I encounter is I have multiple years and cannot select just one. See the attached photo. I attempted it with the 2023 en-us folder but I still have problems.

Set it to: "H:\Engineering\Content Center Files\R2023\"

It still gives me errors.

In the resolve dialog box that pops up, the parts are right there but I need to click every single one to update it. Not really feasible with the amount of designs we have.

Also, if I go through the assembly and manually refresh each CC part path, it gives me this dialog for each.

You still have 2023 or older Project file?  Or application setting?

You need to use those setting.

I'm afraid I'll break more thing changing your Project.

What is Workspace in Project?

Did someone changed or moved folders?

Did you copy and use old Project?

Who copy and moved Content Center Files to "2023"?

Are you supposed to have a "2024"?

I see they're in Project's Libraries which will make them readonly.
