Content Center Editor - Where is the title feature?

While using Inventor 2008, content center editor, I'm using the famlily table of a fasteners group. I wish to modify Iprop columns. It's working & easy for already visibles columns BUT I want to modify the TITLE iprop and there is no way to get it into this table.

How do I add the TITLE column?

Regards,

Hello,

Please do the following:
1)Copy the fastener to your read write library in CC Editor
2)Open family table of the copied family
3)Click Add column button on the tool bar
4)Map it to Inventor property-Summary Information.Title.Please see attached. You can set the values in Expression field.

It this what you want?

Thanks,
Huan

Hello,

Do you mean the title of the inserted part in iproperties dialog is material, such as "Stainless Steel"?
Could you please let me know which family exactly are you using? Is it a standard family from standard library or a customized one?

Thanks,
Huan

exactly thatone, Huan.
This is only for all the standard librarys, look at the attached picture. I can change the material of the librarys I copy to My Library, but I don't want to copy the whole fastener library, just because I can't set the material to something that applies to our standard supplier.

Hello,

I just tried it in Inventor R2008 SP2.What I did:
1)Configure only Inventor DIN library in project
2)Create new assembly and place from CC
3)Insert a member from DIN EN 24014
4)Open the properties dialog of the part and click summary tab
You can see the Title field is blank by default not something like "Stainless steel".
Could you please provide more info and attach your screenshots?

BTW,if you want to set your own material that Inventor doesn't provide to family, please first create your materials in style library, then you can see the new materials in material pull down list in family table of your copied standard family.

Thanks,
Huan

This is what I want

When I insert the CC-part from CC I want it to have a specific material that does apply for the standard that are used. Now all I get is stainless steel. It was even better with the STANDARD material, as it was before which was about 50% correct, because that tells that it is standard. Now it is stainless steel and that is about 99% wrong.

Hello,

So,actually you mean the default material for these DIN screws, nuts, etc are wrong in Autodesk DIN standard library? If that's the case,we will check that according to real STANDARD.Sorry for any inconvenience. For now, please create and apply your own material as I said above.

Thanks,
Huan
