Content center default material

We have a family with parts in 3 different materials. Is there a way to set the default material when inserting a part from CC?

Hi,

If I remember rightly, you need to have the material that you want as your default at the top of the list, so you in effect have to sort the table by material, rather than the part number or filename.

Also, make the material a key column for the selection.

It's probably easiert to manipulate the table in Excel, rather than the editor.

thx. I can see how to sort, but not how to keep the sorting active once the editor is closed.

Try editing the table in Excel, and moving the rows around in the.

Hopefully when you go back into Inventor the changes will stay in place.
