How can I do a constrain if I have a body placed in another body. In my case, I have a propeller blade which is placed a little bit in spinner and I want to put constrain on the bottom edge of the blade, but I can't select them because are in spinner. And the spinner is a solid. I will atache here the case, just must be imported in Inventor.

Is this some insert molded part where its placed and the blade is molded around it?

If so you can always just turn on hidden lines or whatever to constrain to whatever feature is inside the blade or use origin planes to constrain both,etc..

I didn't open your drawing file..

If you have models in Inventor then please post them if the above information doesn't answer your question..

Is there suppose to be a pocket where this attaches to the conical shape?

What are you wanting to constrain the bottom of the blade to?

I believe you should be able to solve this by starting the constraint command, and hovering over the area where the part you are trying to select is. Then right click and select "Select Other". This will pull up a menu allowing you to scroll through every item in line with your cursor even if it's not visible at the moment.

Hi! You might need to create workplanes or work axes in the part to facilitate constraining. Have you tried Joint?

Many thanks!

Yes, the bottom of it and no, there isn't a pocket.
