I need to create an irregular connected grid and be able to set constraints on its members and describe the type of joints on the intersections. On resizing the grid it must reflect its geometry on the conditions of the constraints and joint types. The joint type has to be updated as soon as it is selected .

Please refer to the attached diagram.

So, my question is, is it possible to set this up from the front end so that i can use it with the apropriate API to set it up parametrically in my code else what would be the optimal soultion using other API to solve this problem?

Hi Reuben,

I believe iLogic should be able to help here. I don't think you would be able to fully automate the process from scratch. But, I do think you can automate a lot of editing from an existing design. I have seen our customers build warehouses (50K parts) in variable shapes and configurations using iLogic.

Many thanks!

Hi John,

I was just going through some tutes online and came across 'Frame Generator', thus far this looks a good fit but I will explore further.
