Connecting Inventor 2018 with Autocad Electrical catalog browser?

Hi All,

I am a student studying Engineering at University and this year i have upgraded from Inventor 2017 too Inventor 2018 on my home computer. I have also Downloaded and installed Autocad Electrical 2018 so i can connect both programmes so i can insert electrical components and wiring diagrams into my assemblies on Inventor. 

I keep getting this error message though and i can't figure out what is missing?

I have checked the "Add-In" command on the home page of Inventor and it has the Electrical catalogue browser ticked as being automatically loaded

Does anybody have any suggestions as to where to look next, maybe their is a tutorial on the web which i could follow?

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,

Thank you for your response, the second link was the most helpful as it quoted the most common file location of the electrical catalog which i then used to find on my computer and then locate in the settings.
