Configuration Issue Detected

I have Inventor Professional 2016 and 2017 installed on my computer. I was able to successfully upload an assembly and share it on A360 using the 2017 version and it works great. I have R3 installed on my computer for 2016 and Connected Design is not showing up at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled R3 several times and it's still not showing up and now I have a Configuration Issue Detected in my 2017 version. So now nothing is working. 😞 I have contacted our Autodesk support and they suggested that I get a hold of A360 support directly.

What is the configuration error you are getting in 2017?

I would start with rebooting then going to the 2017 media or extract install location and manually running the ...\Setup\x64\LWS\AutodeskDesktopConnect.msi and ...\Setup\x64\LWS\AutodeskInventorConnectPlugin.msi.

Thanks,

Danny

@brad

Connect Design in Inventor 2016 is not visible by default.

You will need to turn it on:

It's not there to turn on.  You can see that i have it installed in the Add-In Manager. The other odd thing is that when I go to add-ins Connected Design on A360 is alway hidden.  I have to unhide it.  Something is not working correctly here.  We have several other computer in our office with the same software on them and it's working on those machines.  i also have a Suface Book with Inventor 2016 installed and it works on there too.

i received an email from Autodesk asking if this has been resolved and it has not been resolved yet. I am working with Bob Holland to resolve the problem. Looks like I am going to have to reformat my computer and start from there since no one else is experiencing this problem. I have been experiencing some blue screens which are random in nature. They may be linked to a network card, but not sure. I know that the memory, motherboard, and hard drive have been tested and they are all working fine. So that is where we are at now.
