CONE FLAT PATTERN DIMENSIONS

Hi All,

I need some help regarding cone development dimensions. When I do flat pattern, I get the shape of the flat pattern right (see attachment 1) but with my ilogic code which I use to extract the flat pattern dimensions it does not give me the dimensions I need, that is, the development length of the cone and the height of the developed shape as in the attachment 2. It extracts the dimensions see in attachment 1 and give me the result seen in attachment 3.

For each cone development I need to manually edit the nomenclature.

How can I solve this issue so that I get the good development length I require for my cone developments?

Thanks.

I will be grateful if I got the solution.

Regards,

HAFEZ AMIR Mohammad Anas.

Edit:

It appears instead of selecting a line, you can select two points like this and just make it horizontal:
