composite imate not connecting correctly

I'm new to imates and trying to work out the dos and don'ts

I have one female part (F1) and two similar male parts (M1, M2) (with composite imates labeled as such).

All the composite imates have appropriate match lists.

None of the composite children imates have match lists.

The names of the F1 and M1 composite children imates are identical.

The names of the M2 composite children imate names are deliberately different (and the composite imate was recreated since you can't edit it)

I can connect F1 and M1 without issue.

When I try to connect F1 and M2 it creates the constraint but it does not behave correctly.

When I connect F1 and M1 (no issue) and then replace M1 with M2 the constraint still behaves correctly.

When I connect F1 and M2 (misbehaving constraint) and then replace M2 with M1 the constraint still misbehaves.

I've attached the relevant files.

I think I figured it out, when I made M2 I must have accidentally reversed the order of the composite imate children.
This explains the weird constraint behaviour.
Re-ordering them correctly fixes the issue and the child names don't matter if the same or different (I've come across a different issue with having different composite imates with the same child names in the same part so there's one reason to keep the child names different if the parents are different).
Apparently you can edit some things of the composite imate like the order of the children and the child names, with out needing to re-create it.
