Coil Command - Assembly

Hi,

I'm trying to create an adaptive coil in my assembly (for the hole punch in the picture - a lunchtime project!) and the coil command doesn't appear in the 3d model ribbon.  Any suggestions how I can get the command in or create the coil without the feature in the assembly?

A coil is a part.

Therefore you must start a new Part (Component) within the context of the assembly.

Coil is a part level feature.. You need to be creating a new part.. Which can be done in an assembly via "create" from the component pane of the assemble tab..
