Circular Pattern

Good morning all,

Was fiddling with this yesterday, hoping for a quick and easy to rotate (move, not copy) on feature 90° from where I had put it. I found that I could only copy this feature, creating a second feature where as I basically want the original to dissapear or supress and the new to take its place.

Is this possible?

Tks!

Yes. (or maybe)  Hidden functionality.

Attach your *.ipt file and end all doubt.

Yes, is possible.

Not with circular pattern.

First, create your feature as a "new solid".

Use "Move body" in rotate mode (pick the new solid and select axis rotation (same input as the circular array))...

and that's it!!

Best practice would be to rotate the sketch the feature is based on. If this isn't possible, you could do a direct edit.

Thanks Carlos! I have never used the move body before. A different way to do it that seems to have worked great!

Thanks all for the other inputs! Appreciate it!
