Not having this problem.  Can you describe your problem with more detail, or provide a screencast of the process?

Hi! I cannot reproduce it either. Please share a screenshot of what you are seeing. 2021.1 update will be live soon. Please install it when available.

Many thanks!

The first issue of the @'choose column' is resolved, that is an issue of using multi-screens, if the BOM table is on another screen & the 'Choose column' is selected the column doesn't appear, the BOM table must be placed on the main screen for the column to appear.

The next issue i have with the BOM table in 2021 is that the structure tab doesn't display 'all levels' see attached screenshot. Also I'm still on version 2021.0, i haven't installed .1 yet.

It looks like the levels are there, you just need to expand them?  It will not do this automatically.

Replying to old post:

I often move the BOM window to my 2nd monitor, have never had a problem on either monitor until recently.

Now I have been having the same issue, the BOM 'Choose Column' function would not work.

I managed to sort it using Gary's tip. I moved just the BOM window to my main monitor, but still no luck.

I closed the BOM window, moved the whole Inventor session to the main monitor, re-opened the BOM window and it worked.

Inventor needs to be on main monitor for BOM 'Choose Columns' function to work.

Thanks Gary.

Retraction:

My apologies, Inventor session does not need to be on the main screen for BOM 'Choose Columns' to work, just the BOM window.
