Changing Revision in iProperties Doesn't Sync With Revision Table

If you change the revision letter in the iProperties, it will change the current revision letter in a drawing-scope revision table. However, if you then add a new revision to the revision table, it increments from the origional revision letter, not the changed one.

This is true for both manually changing the revision iProperty and changing it through iLogic.

Apparently this has been the case for a long time: http://blog.ads-sol.com/2016/02/revision-table.html

I have two thoughts on this:

(a) this seems like a bug even if its not - the revision table should increment off of the revision iProperty (unless its sheet scope or a vault-integrated revision table, neither of which are true in this case). If that iProperty changes, then not only should the current Revision letter/number change, but any subsequently added ones should increment off of that changed iProperty rather than the original one until/unless it is changed again.

(b) Is there some way using iLogic to sync or modify the revision table letter (like if it's on revision A, and I want to set it to revision C, is there some way to use iLogic to do that where after adding another revision the revision table would say D instead of B without having to manually override?). I know I can do it by deleting all the revision tables in the drawing, and re-adding them, but I'm hoping for a bit more elegant of a solution.

Hi! If I understood the request correctly, you would like to reset the revision number, right? You will need to delete the table and recreate a new one to get the new numbering. If possible, please share the idw/dwg files here. I would like to understand the revision table behavior better.

Many thanks!
