When using Replace under Component in the Assemble ribbon (NOT Save & Replace in Productivity) the path which opens used to be the folder from which a component was most recently opened, which is usually the current working folder.
In Inventor 2024 / Vault 2024 this has changed. While working in the same assembly, on sequential replacements, it sometimes opens the search window in the folder holding the component which is being replaced, and sometimes in a folder where the assembly was originally copied from using Vault Copy Design, but never in the current working folder. The behaviour is not consistent, for example, when replacing a library component with a jobbing component the window sometimes opens in the library folder, and sometimes not.
We jumped from 2021 to 2024, 55 licenses, so the change may have occured earlier.
Can the default be changed back to the old behaviour? Having to navigate to the current folder each time a component is replaced is not productive.
