Change the inventor drawing sheet background color to white

Hi Team,

I need to change the background of my inventor drawing sheet to white. 

I tried, it changes to part environment to white, but not in the drawing sheet.

How Can I do that?

Open your Standard.IDW in the templates folder

- Tools -> Document settings  -> Sheet
- In Colors, click on Sheet
- Select new color as background

- Save back to your templates folder

If you go to "Tools" --> "Document Settings" --> "Sheet", here you can change the sheet color.

This only shows a white background for the drawing file you have open, if you want it for all drawings as default you have to do this within the template file.

Do you know of a way to have each sheet within a drawing file a different color?

Hi Chris,

Unfortunately, it is not doable. All sheets share the same background color. It is a document-level setting. You will need to have multiple idw/dwg files to have different sheet background colors.

This should be a user setting/client-level setting, not document level. 🤔
