Change sources material assignment in bulk in Inverntor Nesting

Hello all,

I have a question regarding Inventor Nesting 2021. We use it regularly for our sheet metal fabrication processes.

I can not seem to able to find to change material of sources in bulk. Example below:

As seen, I am not able to either select the material in advance for source files or not able to change material for all source files at once.

I have to manually change material for each one of the sources manually.

Similar case happens in Nest Properties window. I can not select all sources and change material at once.

Is there any convenient way to do so? We usually have 30-40+ source files sometimes in projects and it is very cumbersome job to do manually.

Hello @omkarnarkar17 ,

I can reproduce the error you're seeing in the Sources dialog, and there is definitely no way to edit them in bulk there. This is a bug and we'll be looking into it for the next release.

As for the Nest Properties dialog, you should be able to multi-select rows in the "Material ID" column via CTRL+Click and/or SHIFT+Click, right-click and choose "Multi Edit" as follows:

You should also be able to copy and paste these things, including materials in various columns. If you find columns that are editable and this is not working, this is a bug that we may not be aware of.
