I was curious if there would be a way to change the angle of text that is shown in a dimension when the annotation plane is to the part rather than the sheet.
If you see the attached image, I would like the text circled in red to be like the sheet annotation plane, circled in blue, while maintaining the same visual projection it has now.
Hi! I don't think there is a workflow to do that in Inventor. The red circled dimension is the true dimension from the 3D model. The dimension value is true to the scale. The blue circled dimension is the projected dimension in an isometric view. This kind of dimension depends on the view direction and it is based on the projection of the edge onto the view plane. When the view direction changes, the value will change.
