center line issue

Help, obvious new guy here.

 

How do I get the small dash to  be centered in between the center of two flanges that share a hole?

When picking the two edges, try picking the upper edge on the left side of the part and the lower edge on the right side.  My very brief attempt looked like it would work to center the centerline between the two segments of the the hole.

Thanks for looking into this.

 

I cannot pick the center points I need because of other geometry:  The location of the centerline shown in the video is not correct, it should be centered about the hidden lines.
