cant lock gear to shaft

I am trying to simulate the operation of a small engine I cant get the gear to lock to the shaft .When I drive the crank from the assembly the crank revolves inside the gear .My pistons ,rods, crank spin but the gear will not .What do I need to do to remove all degrees of freedom from the gear? Thank you.

You can't just upload an assembly file.  You also need to provide the components (parts and sub assemblies) that are in the iam.

You have not attached any of the gear files.

Open the top level assembly.

Go to File>Save As> Pack an Go to gather all files into a folder.

Right click on the folder and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.

Attach the resulting *.zip file here.

Hi Gabriel,

This is a tiny engine. Regardless, it looks like a bug to me. For some reason when the angular increment in Drive is a multiple of 15, the gear will not rotate. I cannot explain the behavior. In the meantime, try avoid using multiples of 15.

Many thanks!
