Cannot save using frame generator

I am designing a new project and I can't get it to save my assembly any more and I get this error.

Save failed because the following files have been modified and must be saved together with 1.5 X 1.5 FRAME 1.iam: Skeleton 1635176671279.ipt

What might cause it to have this issue with my skeleton? Thanks in advance.

Check if the skeleton file is not read-only, and that you're working on the skeleton file under the correct workspace for the active project.

Then check if all prompts are enabled to "Always" under Tools (tab) > App. Options > Prompts. According to an older post it seems like the skeleton should be prompted for saving.

Well, I don't know if it that would have worked as the program crashed before I could figure it out. Good news is that I can save it now... Bad news is I lost about an hour of work and don't know what the issue was in the first place, but thank you for trying to help. Much appreciated.

I had the same issue, reduce amount of maps or shorter name on maps or name of your model, this can happen because to long map road.

I am having sooo much issues with the frame generator all the time.

Frame members not saving etc.  The frame generator could save a lot of time but instead I have to resort to rather complicated ilogic frames.

Parts go missing, editing parts afterwars is always resulting in issues.

Frame don't translate well to drawings, etc.

What a mess.

Hi! Could you share an example that illustrate the messy behavior? Do you repurpose the frame in multiple assemblies?

Many thanks!
