Good morning,
I started creating an assembly in Inventor 2017 without knowing one of the best ways to do this is by having assembled components within the assembly itself. The assembly I'm working on right now has way too many components so i decided to number many of the components but now that's huge inconvenience when I try to hide a specific component because I literally have to go through almost 600 small components to find the particular part i need to hide.
And I can make this process a bit more simpler if i get to copy and paste many of the components as an assembly so it can be easier for me to find what i need to hide but doing this now, will because a bigger inconvenience since i have almost 24 pages of drawings done ready to be print out. which means copy and pasting components will just make go back to each individual drawing and hide all of the components all over again!
so what can i do in this case? is there any way I can go back to my assembly drawing and select a group of components to make them part of a new assembly without affecting the drawings i have ready to be print out? or can i can group them to be part of an assembly at this point?
