can we open inventor 2016 models in 2014

i have created 50 models in Inventor 2016, but finally our customer asking those models in Inventor 2014(he don't have inventor 2016, he forget to intimate before working on this)

do we have any option to copy the sketch from 2014 and paste to 2014 ?

please help me if we have any way.

Hi @Anonymous.

Unfurtunately you can't open an earlier design directly from an old versión of inventor (except Inventor 2017.4).However. There are several workarounds to retrieve your design.

One of them is to export the design from Inventor 2016 to STEP (.stp) extension (including sketches). Your customer then should import the STEP file to Inventor 2012.

No you can't ...

however you can copy and paste sketch ... the issue is opening and closing it...

You can do as mentioned ...export them out and import them back...

then use the Feature recognition app if needed
