Can the Finish Feature Update Geometry

All,

Good afternoon!  Pretty simple question and I believe the answer is no, but can the Finish Feature modify the geometry of the part in any way?  For example, if a paint or coating is applied, does a 0.3mm thickness get applied all around the part, thickening the design?  It doesn't seem like it does, but I want to double-check.  Please let me know if I'm missing anything.  Thanks in advance for any assistance, hope all is well and have a most blessed day!

Hi

Finishing is an information/parameter management tool. Has no effect on geometry.
