I have created a harness assemblies with segments to represent the sleeving, and created cables with 4 wires and 3 wires routed through them (see pic below).

How do I get the wires to 'separate' when coming out of the end of the segment, as you see on real 4-core and 3-core cables? At the moment they are all coming out of the centre and going through each other which obviously doesn't look right. It's probably simple but I cant find how its done.

Also, is there a way to make the segment ends 'solid' instead of hollow? Thanks in advance!

You can't. All wires just start from the center point of the segment. Its really not intended for 100% realistic visualizations..

While editing the harness, right click on the main harness node/name in the model browser and select "Harness Properties" and then uncheck "Use surfaces for all segments and wires"
